Physiotherapy
Physiotherapy is aimed at helping people move better, feel better and function better either in day to day life or in their chosen activities. At our clinic you will experience one-on-one sessions focused on you and your personal goals for recovery or performance. Through the use of education, hands on techniques, dry needling/IMS and exercise prescription, our goal is to help you be and feel the best you can be.
Pelvic Health Physiotherapy
Our Pelvic Health Physiotherapist is experienced in treating all gender identities and ages via an external and/or internal examination as appropriate. We use an integrative approach to optimize the function of your pelvic floor into your entire body. We can treat pelvic pain, incontinence, sexual pain/dysfunction, prolapse, pre/postnatal challenges, and more!
Pelvic floor rehabilitation aims to help clients properly recruit, strengthen, and optimize their pelvic floor through methods such as verbal, manual, and proprioceptive feedback, and customized exercise programs.
A Physiotherapy receipt will be provided.
Hand Therapy
Hand therapy is a specialized area of rehabilitation that focuses on evaluating and
treating conditions and injuries affecting the hand, wrist, and forearm. Hand therapy
often extends its focus to include the cervical spine, shoulder girdle, and shoulder when
treating conditions or injuries that affect the upper extremities. This broader perspective
is crucial because these areas are interconnected, and issues in one region can impact
the function and recovery of the hand and arm.
Purcell Orthotics
Pedorthists are foot, orthotic and orthopaedic footwear experts. They are trained in the biomechanical assessment of gait and gait-related disorders. Our pedorthist offers footwear fitting and modifications, as well as the fabrication of custom foot orthoses.
